“And the Lord said
unto the servant, Go out into the highways and
hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be
filled.”
Mission
Statement
To bring forth greater understanding of the word of God
concerning the dance so that dance ministries will have
strong biblical foundations. Teach, Instruct, Guide and
Train dancers to minister with a purpose. Spread the
Gospel. Wearing proper attire. Glorify and Worship our
Lord and Savior through dance. Present God through
movement.
We have so many people that
are visual, so as servants our goal is to
go above and beyond the
church walls to reach souls and visually present
and minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ through dance,
drama, mime, and praise” and see peoples life change.
Our desire and prayer is that
our music and dance always edifies Jesus Christ in order to
exhibit our purpose of dancing for Him.
Bio of Donna Stephens
I am currently a member of The Door
of Hope Christian Church, where my Leaders are Bishop
Michael and Pastor Melinda Blue located in Marion, SC.
I began ministering in mime in the
year 2000 with my church drama ministry “XPEC10C”. In the
year 2003 God opened up a door for me to be the assistant
director of “Breaking the Barriers” praise dance school in
Mullins, SC, where I taught the biblical aspect of praise
dance and mime in word and choreography to ages 3 and up.
I have traveled through out the
United States Ministering through the Art of Dance, Mime and
the Word of God. Although I am able to minister in Mime and
Dance, Mime is my passion.
There was a moment in my walk with
God where I was not happy. I was doing other things in
ministry besides dance to make other people happy. My
husband noticed this and one day while worshipping the Lord
my husband turned to me and said, "Donna, your ministry is
beyond the church walls." From that moment on as I began
traveling I ministered under the name "Beyond the Walls"
Mime ministry.
Upon moving back to SC God has
again opened up doors and blessed me with an opportunity to
open a praise dance school, which is now open and located in
Marion, SC and is called “Beyond the Walls” Praise Dance
School. It is during this time as well as other engagements
that I administer workshops on the biblical aspects of Dance
and Mime.
I have a passion to see the people
of God empowered. Therefore, I strive to live a life that is
an example before the people of God, demonstrating the Godly
Character and love of God. I am serious about my walk with
God and desire to be Christ Like in all that I do.
I live by the scripture in Luke
14:23, "And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the
highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my
house may be filled."
